"The latest in the Smash Court series from Namco features the most popular players and competitions (including the world's top grass court tournament itself) in a dynamic tennis simulation.
Play as top tennis players Andre Agassi Pete Sampras Patrick Rafter Yevgeny Kafelnikov Martina Hingis Lindsay Davenport and yes - Anna Kournikova. There are also hidden players to unlock.
Three of the world's major tournaments to compete in - the green grass of Wimbledon and the Hard Courts of the Australian and US Opens. A version of the French Open also features. With ball speed and bounce changing on each surface you will need to adapt your play accordingly.
Whether you play as a predominately baseline or net player you'll need to master all the shots available to you. These include serve topspin slice lob topspin lob and drop shot.
5 different modes of play.
In Arcade Mode you must compete in all four tournaments to become the top tennis champion (either in singles and doubles competitions).
> Pro Tournament Mode requires you to work through the rankings to challenge the top player - any points you earn here can be exchanged for prizes and unlockable features.
Exhibition Mode - play a single match and customise the rules to your own liking.
Time Attack Mode - Compete for the fastest time to win all four tournaments in singles or doubles competitions.
Challenge mode - get a knack for the game by clearing a variety of challenges and mini-games
